So, I was curious as to if anyone here has found information pertaining to headsets and the Wii U. I have called Nintendo directly and asked about this issue, but they had no information. I would like to purchase a nice set to allow me to play both on-line as well as at night when others are sleeping.

I have found 2 from Turtle Beach that are Wii U compatible, first is $50, second is $30:

Has anyone else found any information? While quite a few say they will be compatible, I don't want to buy them because it seems as though each new console will require a new headset.

The controller has a headphone jack and a built-in mic if you wanna save some bucks, but those headsets do look comfortable, and yeah the Turtlebeaches were the only ones I've seen so far.
