Anyone else with a Vizio TV not able to use the GamePad to control the TV? Any other manufacture name I could try out?

For my Xbox 360 remote, I had to use a GoldStar code to work with my Vizio TV. That one doesn't work with the Wii U.

Dude, I'm not talking about watching movies and stuff. I'm talking about controlling the volume/input with the game pad

When you first set up the Wii it guides you through setting up the GamePad to control your TV's volume/input/power buttons. It's just that it's not working with my particular TV is all.

The TV stuff not coming until Dec/Jan are for watching movies and TV shows like through Amazon/Hulu

Works with mine and it's a Vizio.
If I never reward you with attention, I may see you as a troll.
Buy these: Liberation Maiden, Ace Mathician, Xenoblade, Solatarobo (sequel incoming, get hype)

Did you check on Nintendo website? Remotes controllers have a key (I don't know if they are still using that).

I have a Vizio. Works fine out of the box. Did you change the signal type?

Signal type 1 worked for me out of the box. But there's multiple signal types that work with that brand.

Also, some older Vizios are re-branded Samsungs, so you could also try the Samsung preset.

I have a 37 inch Vizio, Signal Type 1 works perfectly on mine, no hassle at all.
