It's not Nintendo's job to be your child's parent.

Honestly the internet as a whole isn't a safe place for kids.

if anything miiverse is too safe

it doesn't even allow for different levels of content filtering to let people choose what they want to see, they just moderate the hell out of everything for everyone

and also like it's one thing to moderate like swearing and dick drawings and whatnot but then there's stuff like when my friend got moderated for linking to his steam account (which i understand the reasoning with that kind of a thing would be to protect kids from giving out personal info but there's no reason that grown-ass adults should have to deal with that s***)

it's like being locked on the strictest safesearch settings on google and it's stupid as hell

(probably a joke topic but shut up i need to rant about this)

Evidence on this very board proves otherwise.

Miiverse, even with its hollow safeguards, is letting in pervs and parents should look out even moreso than they already do.
I am not a screenwriter. I am a used car salesman. I spend more on toys than my own 3 kids and I hate anything Sony puts out even if it is widely praised.

We have to input out age when making a Nintendo ID.Nintendo could make it so that users under 17 can only view messages by other users that are within an age range specified by the parents.

I think that this method would help alot and they should also give users 17+ the ability to block out messages from an age range that we specify.

They already mod stuff that is really stupid.I got modded when I mentioned Ted Nugent on the Dangerous Hunts board, even though I simply mentioned that he is a really cool hunting enthusiast.

I think that being able to autoblock age ranges would really help and improve the Miiverse.

If you're afraid that Miiverse is an unsafe environment for children then you might as well forbid your kids from even going outside. || || Xbox LIVE: Nitesoul || PSN: Gencoil || NNID: Recoil
