Did Nintendo actually lose money this year too? Wasn't the Wii U selling well? I'm fully aware that it is being sold at loss right now, but aren't games supposed to make up for this?
Even if not, isn't losing money possibly good news? Sooner or later they will stop losing for each sold copy, if it is selling well right now, it will keep selling well later? (I don't understand **** about economics, lol).
And yes, I am too lazy to just look up the other billion topics about this, my life is easier making my own topic. http://derp.co.uk/2bd6e

Nintendo is profitable and has only had one year in over a hundred years where they were not. Iwata is not resigning.

Nintendo did not lose money, they just didn't post "enough" so they apologized to investors. Iwata stated that it's his commitment to hit 100 billion yen for the next fiscal year (ending March 2014) and that as management, should he fail he will take responsibility even if that leads to resignation.
