i try to stay away from number scores because they mean different things to different people in search of different gaming preferences, but i'll do quick reviews of each cuz everyones asleep and i feel like sharing. i have...
Mario zombi u ninja gaiden james bond transformers scribblenaughts sonic racing batman
i liked them all in different ways. i wouldnt have much hesitation giving them all an eight with the exception of scribblenaughts. something just felt off about it. it plays like a list of 'guess the word'chores moreso than an open ended puzzle game, but just randomly creating havoc can be loads of fun by itself. so that saved it for me anyway. (Maxwell sized vibrator that shoots exploding batteries ftw!)
i was a little let down by transformers not allowing you to pick a campaign character, instead making you play a certain bot through a certain level, but it ended up being pretty cool bouncing back and forth and the characters do feel a bit different.
james bond turned out to be a very nice and somewhat challenging alternative to cod that i have no problem recommending to anyone. its lacking a little polish here and there, but overall, as with zombiu, the reviews were just assbackwards and wrong here.
playing batman again with the wiiu interface made it that much cooler and mario games will always be mario games. i'm probably one of the few that wanted a little more from the power up side of the mushroom kingdom, but i really enjoyed my time with it. i'd of liked the secret exit levels to have been a different color on the map, but no biggie.
sonic racing probably has more bang for the buck than anything else out right now and features more 'why the hell isnt mariokart doing this' moments than youd expect a series like this to produce. I bought sonic, along with ninja gaiden almost exclusively because of the miiverse communities and, as if it werent obvious, i've been pleasantly surprised with both.
having said all that, i can see myself trading sonic where i know id keep mariokart. that probably has to do with my not caring for many of the sega characters, but whatever the reason, i'll more than likely be saying goodbye to sonic and transformers when legocity, nfs and aliens come out. Both games are solid, fun and challenging, i'd just rather break legos, run from the cops and kill xenomorphs.
Don't be that guy that's like those guys. It's in poor taste.
