It's a little overpriced, I think $40 or $50 would be more fair

Personally, I think it should be $40; $50 at the most.

EDIT: Assuming $60 is the final price, which is currently a placeholder price by Amazon and some other retailers. What do you think the remake should cost?

Hasn't been announced. Retailers are guessing. For them, guessing high is the way to go.

I've pre-ordered from Amazon before when they have overpriced games. Once the actual price is available, they'll post it, and you get to pay the lower price under the preorder price guarantee.

Maybe it will end up being $60. I'll probably buy it anyway but $30 or $40 is a more reasonable price point for a remake (if it is executed very well like it looks like this one will be).

I voted for $40 or $50, but have they even announced the price? I mean, they haven't even said the release date. Or are we just assuming its going to be $60?

No way am I paying that for a game I already own. I can afford it but I refuse to spend that on an HD version of the game. Gamefly it is for me.

It's probably a placeholder, so I'm not voting. We also don't know anything about it yet.

Remember when Wii U games were priced at $100 at first? I'm not buying any remake for full price unless it looks like a completelu different game like REmake

It is, Amazon priced Lightning's Return at $70 for a placeholder. A lot of games get placeholder prices until official prices are announced. Sometimes these prices are lower than retail and Amazon has to honor the preorders, so they always try to set them higher just to be safe.
