So up until now, the internet wasn't really a thing for Nintendo?

ok...

Yep. It wasn't a thing when Nintendo had online on the NES...downloadable games on the SNES or online chat on the N64...

>Nintendo doesn't like online.

LOL NINTENDO GET WITH THE TIMES

> Nintendo does like online.

LOL NINTENDO GET WITH THE TIMES

You act like this isn't true though. They're way behind on the online gaming front.

Nintendo has been experimenting with online since the NES. They just aren't giving it all their attention as many devs are doing today resulting in terrible offline games. Create a good game first, then worry about online.

And that's why no Nintendo game was won a GOTY award for about 2 generation.
Silly fanboys and their delusions, thinking only Nintendo makes good games.

Nintendo Power and Wii/DS Game of the Year category in a magazine doesn't count.

I think online gaming has ruined video games.

4 player multiplayer was always more fun.

He is so out of touch with reality it is almost considered business espionage when MS or Sony send "journalists" to try and get him to talk about anything relevant. Muzzle the man already.

Considering the bare bones single player in games, and the fact that online is tacked onto every game nowadays as a way to extend the life of them I'd say online needs to take a backseat for a bit. How about fleshing out the story modes first.
