If you're a fan of the series the game is worth get a wiiu just for it? you'd have to be a superfan imo - so to answer your question no.

yes, if you are monster hunter fan you should buy it. If they make Monster Hunter 4 on console, it will be wii u exclusive also.

No. You should buy a Wii U for MH3U, Nintendo Land, NSMBU, 3D Mario, Zelda, Smash Bros., X, The Wonderful 101, Bayonetta 2, and whatever Retro's making.

But, y'know, feel free to spring for it now when only a few of those game are out. No difference paying the same price now or later unless you just don't have the money. There won't be a price drop this year, and if there is, Nintendo will offer compensation along the lines of 3DS's Ambassador Program.
