Had a couple extra laptop hard drives laying around, so I decided to go the enclosure route.

Bought this
http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B001A4HAFS/ref=mp_s_a_1_1?qid=1453098875&sr=8-1&pi=SL75_QL70&keywords=thermaltake+blackx

It is self poweref and takes 2.5 and 3.5 hdds. Has been working flawlessly.

Not sure if I should post this here, or start a new (thread? board? topic? new to the faq thing. not sure what to call it)

Anyway: Is there anything I can do to solve a particular problem I'm having?
1. Downloads update for Smash Bros (that new DLC tho)
2. No room for update
3. Go to make room for update
4. Not enough room on my dinky little flash drive (its 1 gig, I know. Terrible.)
5. Can't move the update data
6. Still not enough room

I need help. Is there something I can do besides formatting the flash drive and starting over? I hope I don't have to do that because I've been storing a lot of data for Smash Bros. Like too much. Why is there never enough data for these damn consoles? The only option I can think of is getting another flash drive to fix this issue. If that'll even fix the issue.

I bought a new storage device for the Black Wii U. It has 1TB of memory. I put the games with biggest memory I got from Club Nintendo. I was running low on memory space. Now I can buy any digital games without worry running out of memory space. I bought at Amazon, too.

You can have two flash drives inserted simultaneously and transfer data from one to the other. I just did this a few days ago when I upgraded from a 16gb flash drive to a 64gb flash drive.
It's a secret to everybody.

I just got a Western Digital My Passport 1TH.
Wii U recognizes it but it can't format it.

Is this because I don't have the "Y" cable just the USB cord that came with the Hardrive?

Confirmed t is what I need thanks
