Just curious. I've always been a big Nintendo supporter, but the Wii U is their first system since the original NES that I did not get at launch (and have yet to buy). I plan on getting one this summer though. Led me to wondering how the current owners would advise friends on the Wii U?

If you choose Other, leave a comment explaining it. Thanks!

Wait for the holidays because you can get a good bundle.

Unless you often have friends over, Have wide taste in games or like Monster hunter. Then get a Wii U instantly because its ****ing good for local multiplayer, or because monster hunter can last you until the games really start roll in.

To be honest, I'd ask him what his gaming needs are. 'Cause you know, as much as I like my Wii U, and Nintendo, my friend won't be happy with it if his favorite genres are online FPS and sports games. But in any case, I'd suggest waiting in the Fall.

Do you like Nintendo games?

Yes? Buy it.

Donkey Kong Country, Super Mario, Pikmin, Zelda. And next year Mario Kart and Smash Bros. If those mean anything to you, than the system is worth owning.

I would tell them to wait until 2014.

Nintendo announced some great games, but many will not come until sometime in 2014.
Xbox One, Xbox-One, Xb-One, XbOne, Xbone, Xboned
it's evolution.

I'd say wait until the holidays when holiday hits come out and bundles.

Get it now, it is worth it now (MH3U alone makes it worth it)

if there are no games out that interest you (currently), wait until there is something that does.
and thus concludes my post.
