I already signed it. I'm not buying it (NOTE: This doesn't mean I'm not buying it on the Wii U, I'm not buying it at all), but I won't deny the people who want it. Whoever they are.
you signed a petition to bring a game to the WiiU that you won't buy, but hope others will? I can't begin to describe how stupid that is... I hope Arcsystems see this so they don't get mislead into thinking everyone who signs will actually buy it... You should only sign if you intend to buy...
I'm pretty sure Arc Systems is aware that not everyone who signs intends to buy and factor in people like that guy.
I signed, personally, although I have every intent to get it if it comes out.
And there are always the people that will get the game but never knew a petition existed. Either way, it is a win for someone.
As I've said in other topics, if you sign this petition but have no intention of buying the game on the Wii U then you're a bit of a dick.
I'm giving Arc System Works benefit of the doubt. If the game can manage to pull a full 180, and actually has a fun, reasonably balanced roster (read: not everyone nerfed to hell, with two or three uber powerful characters, because when everyone is as viable as everyone else, it takes some of the depth out of the game), I may consider buying it used.
In order for me to buy a game, a developer has to EARN that right. Nintendo, Capcom, Sega, Microsoft, Ubisoft, SNK, Namco, they've earned that right by consistently releasing top notch games, with a few exceptions, but the bad games from those developers I listed, truly ARE exceptions, in that bad games from those devs are few and far between (okay, maybe not recent Capcom). Ark System Works will make a good game every once in a while (the DBZ Super Sonic Warriors series, for example), but most of the time we get tripe like BlazBlue, or Fist of the North Star.
I'm interested in the game, and I will get it. But Ark System Works has to prove to me, that they're worth my $60.
