Why does everyone ignore this game? This game looks like it can be a HUGE addition to Nintendo's Ip's. Like their own version of Final Fantasy.

Monolith is owned by NIntendo so this DOES make it a First party game right? Why is everyone saying that there are no new Ip's when Nintendo could be creating their on Final Fantasy type game series?
I don't need violent videogames to reassure myself that I'm an adult.

Right now, most people are assuming it's a sequel to Xenoblade Chronicles.

Why? Well, it's not really a new IP. Everything we've seen so far shouts "This is Xenoblade. It looks the same, plays the same, had giant robots and all that stuff that the first game did." It may very well be a new IP, but it's similar enough to Xenoblade that it doesn't feel like one. All we're missing is a giant red sword shaped like a ****.

X is not a sequel to Xenoblade. Unless you consider Xenoblade a sequel to Xenosaga, then I'd laugh at you.

Because we know absolutely nothing about the game except for an epic trailer that doesn't tell us anything about the story or gameplay.

I just watched the trailer. It looks like it could be pretty good. I'll be keeping watch on this one too.

well it's only as much of a new IP as Final Fantasy 15.

it may have new characters, a new world, a new story, but it's part of the Xeno franchise.

Because Monolith Soft isn't Nintendo, despite the fact that it's first party.

Because it's just a sequel to Xenoblade Chronicles.

Because I want to ignore it, and any other first party IP that Nintendo made in the last generation, to prove that they only make Mario, Zelda, and Pokemon games.

One of those should cover the average reasons you'll get.

Probably because no one knows anything about it other an a combined total of about 30 seconds of footage between two trailers since it is so far out. If it comes out in 4th quarter 2014 consider yourself lucky.
Truth is only known once you step outside the information bubble.
