Full article Talks about worries of how the Wii U is going to do this holiday. Has comments from Ubisoft and few other guys. Zombie U was not profitable. Rayman being moved to multiplatform because of that. Looks like Ubisoft might start curbing support for Wii U :(

Ouch, ZombiU didn't even look like that expensive of a game to make. And when one of your major 3rd Party Games (Arguably the biggest it's had so far outside of Lego City) can't make bank. It's grim signs for third parties in the future.

i have to say, the best selling 3rd party title not coming even close to profitable is just a really big shock to me, that's just bad news.

well, that sure will kickstart third party support for the system...

I'm baffled that the game cost so much to make. That is really strange to me, it looked terrible and played like a chore.

I know it sold reasonably well, how could it not be making money?

tomb raider sold like 4 million copies and wasn't profitable either. scary what this gen my do to devs

Blame marketing. When selling four million isn't enough, there's something wrong.

Didn't it sell almost 0.5 million copies? That seems like it's more ubisofts fault it wasn't profitable, because a lot of games would be considered successful at that number.

It sold to 1/7 of the consoles user base, that's actually extraordinarily high for a niche survival horror game, if they thought it was going to sell higher they were setting themselves up for failure.
