What silly answers, surly if you just want a small extra TV then 25" or 32" would be fine? I remember for cathode ray tube TVs that was big.

Funny, as I said almost the same.
LOL.

Never ever look up at a tv, doing so will result in deformed gamer face syndrome. metazim53

I can't and won't say anything about anyone else's post, but mine is completely serious, especially in comparison to CRT televisions.

You can get Mitsubishi DLP's off craigslist for around a hundo, needing only a $50 bulb replacement.

DLP are great but if the color wheel fails it isn't just $50 failure rate is low though. Also DLP takes a lot of space. A LCD or a LED tv would take less space which is a plus on a bedroom.

LCD or LED would only take up LESS space depth-wise if you mount it to the wall, and have nothing underneath, like a dresser or some such.

My 73" DLP is only a foot and a half deep, meaning my dresser - which is wide enough to hold it without issue - is a full foot deeper.

for a bedroom i find anything bigger than 42" is an overkill unless you have a really big bedroom.

When it comes to tech, overkill is the right amount of kill, IMO.
