They make great games, but no good cinematic ones.

IGN did an article a while back about cutscenes in games being too plentiful these days.
I can see how a good story can be compelling and all that but are we watching a movie or playing a game here?
What happened to the good old days when you just pressed start to play?
You know back when you didn't have to watch a half hour video before you even started.
