www.google.com. <----- just once in your life try doing a little research and finding out for yourself, better that way as this forum is heavily biased when it comes to this game.
litterally the only topic where this is the right answer, someone posts it, and everyone jumps on him for it

imagine a purist style RPG experience like Dragon Quest, but then add in quirky surrealism, bizarre scifi, parodies of US pop culture, ridiculous enemies (one of your enemies is a New Age Retro Hippie), extremely sweet, well done emotional content, all out psychedelia, etc.
also, the 16bit gems history of EB can really help:
as well as the review:
just make sure to stop watching once he gives the huge spoiler warning late in the review.
Every jRPG ever, especially the Dragon Quest / Warrior games.
www.google.com provided me absolutely no information about the game, it just came up with some blank box. Nothing relevant to what I wanted. Please link to a competent site next time, thanks!!!!
The Game. When you think about the game you lose the game. You just lost the game. Welcome to the game.
Dragon Quest , but in 'Murrica.
it's a slow and easy game with nothing to show for it other than its charm

i love how nobody hated EarthBound as much as when it started to gain hype for WiiU. people thought of it as a gracefully aged, 100% unique classic until it was available on WiiU, now it's overrated, boring, terribly aged, slow, etc.
it's niche, for sure. it's definitely not for everyone. but that's the thing, niche media is usually the best.
2001: A Space Odyssey is a niche movie by today's standards. it's slow, it's lacking dialogue and emotional investment, it's very long, it's confusing, etc.
Avengers is a movie for everyone. it's everything 2001 is not. and it's great at doing its job.
but which, when placed under the microscope, is truly the better film?
same goes for music. Frank Zappa is very niche. his music is confusing, disturbing, complex, the songs are very long, it's hard for people to relate to, etc.
then you have an artist like JayZ who makes music geared towards everyone. it doesn't have any dangerous edge that other hiphop artists have, it uses great melodic hooks and triple-A production methods, and is perfect for the radio.
but which is truly the better artist?
niche media is bound to be hard for many people to enjoy and find significance in. to them, it's just boring nonsense without anything going on. but for people who can see it, there's much more content and much more depth than most things that are meant to appeal to you easily and grab your attention and never let go.
some people who just didn't like it when it first came around still won't like it
If you want info on games, these sites are a must:
Intel Core 2 Duo 6320 (1.86Ghz), 4GB Ram, ATI Radeon 5450 HD
The battle is really underrated...
If anything it's better than EO/DQ/other battles from similar games.
And the game actually gives you enough items/PSI to get around battles without having to grind...
And about the 2001 comparison... The problem about that movie was that it was made with a specific type of screen in mind. If you didn't watch it in the right theaters, you missed what was truly interesting about the experience.

This is one of the most intelligent posts I've seen in a while. Good job.
