So, my sister and I play the Wii U a lot, and use it for the web browser for Youtube even more often than that. I also use it to sleep every night while I have a movie playing in the background. I need sound to sleep, and music doesn't work for me. All together my system is on from the moment I wake up until I go to bed where it turns off an hour after I sleep. It's even on while I'm at work because my sister plays it. It usualy ends up being on around the 250 to 260 hour range a month. I'm cutting back on that, making sure it gets turned off more often for the sake of my bills, but I use that for everything. I only use my laptop for games now and everything else is on Wii U because It's so easy to use. I guess this has gone on too long... so, anyone had their Wii U overheat? Thanks!
HEY... what are you doing? o_O?

It's a well built system just like its predecessors. As long as you have good ventilation you should be good.

My old Wii runs a lot hotter than my WiiU, and even it has never overheated.

The Wii U might be the coolest running system in generations.
Either the worst great player or the best horrible player you'll ever meet.

LOL Wii U doesn't have enough power to overheat.

Pun?

Overheating has been something I have been worried about since it gets to over 105f here. So I try not to play with it on hot days.

Use air conditioner. Problem solved.
