PS4 is a better buy

Without question. The hardware alone offers far better value, and once you add the games... Wow.

It's the Vita all over again!

1. No Games
2. Strange Architecture (see why Apple struggled with games before switched to x86 Intel)
3. Lack of 3rd Party Support because of above.

That's... actually pretty reasonable, yea.

Become a mod and change OP's text to that.

Go. Now. Chop chop.

Karma meter is too low, I've been recently modded for an implicitly explicit comment.

Honestly you're spot on for everything aside from the hardware point.

1. Sure. They are selling at a loss but sure.
2. No.
3. I can see that. HDs are getting cheaper though.
4. Yeah.
5. No.
6. Ehhh...
7. Ehhh...

I own a U. How exactly is the hardware not outdated and underpowered again? Last time I checked, the next 2 consoles coming out obliterate the U as far as power goes.

sony hardware rep has actually disproved that.

1. Not overpriced to me; it would be if it was a portable system
2. Doesn't matter to me; I still play NES, SNES, Genesis, GBA, etc
3. You can expand it if you want
4. On the way
5. Nintendo is focusing on gaming, like always; should be used to it by now
6. Work in progress is typically the norm with newer systems
7. Controller is OK, but the fact that you can't buy another one for the same system is ridiculous

Question. Why do people say Nintendo has poor online service?
It's free, can download arcade and retail games just like Xbox and play station. Able to talk to fellow gamers when I play monster hunters, no friend codes anymore. Explain.

Maybe try using a system other than a Nintendo certified device, and you'll find out.

So...No answer?

I've payed for xbox live since 2005 and I think its an excellent service esecially if imma pay money which really wasn't all the much.

Xbox live is better in that it was faster connecting to servers and you could create a chat service amongst who you wanted from your friends list and chat it up while you gamed either the same multiplayer or some game you were playing single player.

With this said, the Nintendo Network is a very competant service and mii verse has actually been very unique and awesome. Everyrhing else feels very familiar to me and I like it just as much. I hope that helped.

Still don't see why it's called poor. Had as many server errors with my wii u as my Xbox 360. Seems like people are ok paying $30-60 for the ability to chat with their friends when they are playing different games. Sounds like a pretty expensive phone plan to me. Can someone explain the TC point about poor online service.

You don't see why its poor because its not. I just mentioned that Live is overalk better and stable... doesn't mean Nintendos Network is poor, far from itm.. I really like it.
