There's only a slight drought of games for the Wii U. However, if you include Wii games you have never played, there is no drought at all.

Now that the Wii is fading away, the time is right to pick up games you need.

Let me just list a few:

Kirby Collection: Best Buy for $7.99
Almost all the Player's Choice Games are $15-$19 on Amazon.

Used I have found the following:
Battalion Wars 2: $4
Boom Blox: $4
Twilight Princess: $6.50
Mario Strikers Charged: $5
Epic Mickey: $5
Mario Kart Wii: $6.50

Check your local used stores. You might get lucky. And check online for fantastic deals on new games.

At this point I've gotten all the Wii games I want except two: Arc Rise Fantasia and Xenoblade.

Any one know where I can get at least one of those cheap.
My sig will never happen, but it would be awesome if it did.

Definitely NOT Gamestop. Those bastards are still selling used games for a few dollars below their ORIGINAL retail price.

So if you want a player's choice game, you can find it for $18 at gamestop. haha

A Boy and His Blob and Metroid: Other M are fairly cheap and both excellent titles.

Not to mention all the cheap Gamecube games. Although those are playable only on the Wii.

Metroid Prime: $1
Odama: $3
Super Mario Strikers: $5
FF Chrystal Chronicles: $6
Zelda: Wind Waker: $6
Zelda: Ocarina + Master Quest: $6

Pretty good finds lately. And those are all games at the point of purchase I had not played before.

There are hundreds of great Nintendo games. I seriously doubt everyone complaining about the Wii U's drought has played all of these games. If you haven't look back and play old games in the mean time.

No, because you've already played all of those old games before, right?
