Which works nicely for both fans and trolls, because the former will get to enjoy even more Platinum goodness, while the latter will be able to keep complaining about the lack of third-party games. :-)

What exactly is second party? Does it mean they'll work exclusively for nintendo, but nintendo won't actually own them?

Yeah, like Rare so long ago. Basically a third-party that only does exclusives.

That would be a horrible idea. They'd be extremely limited in how much sales potential their games would have.

I like their games, but there's no way I would buy a Wii U to play them.

Of course they'd like to be second party to Nintendo. That way they'd keep a steady stream of work.
If Platinum was HAND drawn, she'd be on paper, fool. This is a video game. They just made her on screen, no "drawing" involved -Delano7 on BlazBlue

No, that's first party. Since Nintendo bought all the shares from Bamco, they're an internal Nintendo studio.
