Except people weren't saying that at the time. They insisted it was different then. I can dig up many N4G approved articles and topics across forums saying the Vita was going to destroy it. 3DS is facing competition from a NEW POWERFUL handheld. That is what they said. People just changed their story according to what actually happened.

Fact is X1 and PS4 are FAR more greater threats to each other than they are to Wii U. Nintendo have completely different games.

In which they are actual games and not "interactive experiences."

nintendo isn't done, they just aren't relevant.

i mean they haven't been in a while, even with the wii, it was still mostly a pile of shovelware with galaxy and zelda as the cherries on top. but now they're just extra-irrelevant.

nintendo put out another gamecube, it's as simple as that. they won't die, they just won't catch lightning in a bottle again like they did last time around. the wii u will be stuck in quicksand for years to come and that's that.

I just wonder what would compel a person to wonder if the most successful video game company on the market is going to be "done".

It's crazy to me.

We are almost three months AWAY (not PAST mind you) from the holiday season and it feels like a letdown? Wow. Where could I get that crystal ball??
