The only game I've seen that looks great on it is pikmen.

I wouldn't write it off until next Christmas. That's a realistic look at it. By then, the Wii U would have 3 holidays to work with...if it can't take off then? I'd say Nintendo starts early on the next console. The Wii U will probably see a 4 year lifespan.

On the the other hand. If the software helps it move GC numbers? Nintendo will stick it out for about 5-6 years. Remember, they are a company, and the 3DS is killing it right now. They'll just feed of off the 3DS if the Wii U pulls GC numbers.

GBA/GC era revisited if you ask me.

At the end of the day, when did we as gamers forget that major consoles can fail?

Anyone remember the Virtual Boy? I bet at the time if internet forums had of existed as much then, people would be saying the same things they are now, then. No one can contemplate a games console made by a big company, fail. But it does happen.

Virtual Boy was beyond worse. There was no credible argument to make in favor of the Virtual Boy. The Wii U had more games on release day than the Virtual Boy had released over its entire life span. It never even cracked a million units sold,
