Nintendo is shouldering the entire 3DS library now? Weird, all my Atlus, Capcom, SE, etc. games were really made by Nintendo? Who knew?

I was waiting for someone to bring that up.

Nope

Which is why after this month Wii U is finished.

Have fun playing the few games Nintendo puts out when they feel like.

I still think Nintendo will end up buying Capcom. That will add a ton of exclusive games to Wii U.

I only really buy first party stuff on Nintendo consoles anyway, so I would have no problem with this.

most people only buy nintendo consoles for nintendo games so yes they can do it especially when you look at how many games nintendo puts out a year i cant think of another company that releases as many games in a year than them.

When i buy games for any Nintendo system first party always comes first. After that i start looking into what third party games are on it but i'll usually get those months later after the price goes down. Occasionally if it's a really good third party game i'll get it sooner but rarely do if feel compelled to do so. It's the ones made by Nintendo that are always the biggest deal.

They can...

The real question, though, is can they shoulder the entire Wii U library AND the 3DS library at the same time? I'm not so sure on that. There's only so many employees to go around.

Of course, hopefully this will be hypothetical and Wii U will continue to get a decent selection of third party games.

Yes, it will be doomed. Just like the N64 and Gamecube were.

Nintendo consoles are for Zelda and ssb, maybe mario if that's your flavor. When the Wii u ssb and zelda comes out it will have fulfilled its duty.
