I'm actually glad they went 3D world route. 2 galaxy was enough for me. As much I want another 64 or sunshine, I'd take new Mario ideas first.

Sure, I'd buy it. I'd just hope for a few original gameplay additions. Galaxy 2 was definitely a better game than 1, but it didn't do much to the formula beyond improving the level design.

This.

I wonder if they really did release a SMG3, how many people here would say "it's the exact same, jump on platforms, collect stars.....man its worse than COD" no matter how innovative it was.

And I personally think gamers are a little spoilt, they expect games that were as innovative and revolutionary to the business like SM64 and OOT were, but they expect from every single game from Nintendo.
Oh, for a new 'proper' Shining Force..and a new Panel de Pon game and a new english release of Puyo Puyo....

I would buy a Galaxy 3, if only because it would be great to have a Galaxy game with the same level of visual polish that we're seeing with 3D World. But I do think that it would be a good idea for Nintendo to move forward with a new concept.

I would only accept it if it included a HD Trilogy Version down the line. But no, I'm fine with the two. I hoped for a new direction... and unfortunately, we got 3D World...

No. Two were good, but they're enough. I'd rather they make a 3D Mario in the vein of Super Mario 64, Sunshine, or a new one.

This. I love the SMGs, but we don't need any more.
