I like the world themes and powerups better in Mario 3.

I don't have the same affection for SMB3 that a lot of people do, but it would certainly gain more from a remake than SMW

i prefer SMB3, but i feel like SMW would be more appropriate to remake.

for one, SMB3 already got a graphical update on SNES, while SMW never got a future-gen update.

also, SMB3 already has a more diverse thematic arsenal between all its different worlds. even in 8bit, you can really feel a huge diverse difference between every world. however with SMW, despite its huge variety of levels, the themes are far less diverse and many worlds have levels that look just like past-world levels. so with a remake, they could inject some diversity into its visual style.

Do you judge games by graphics and not gameplay?Only like realistic games?

Neither. The New Super Mario Bros. series has rehashed those two (especially SMB 3) to death. Let's move on to the next great 2d Mario game.

You don't see 3d Marios trying to emulate Mario 64.

well it'd be kinda impossible to emulate Mario 64 in a noticeable way. it was very middle-of-the-road Mario.

it only used powerups as timed special skills for specific instances, as opposed to specific powerups that helped define the game styles in SMB3 (tanooki, leaf, frog, hammer) and SMW (cape). and while SMB3 divided its themes between different settings, the stage play theme (with pullies, ropes, screws, wood floors, curtains, gears, shadows on the sky, etc) unified it all as the SMB3 theme, and SMW had Dinosaur-land as its uniting theme with the Reznor bosses, triceratops in chocolate island, little dragon guys in the first world, intro of Yoshi, etc.
but Mario 64 didn't have a Mario 64 theme. the hub world was the mushroom castle, which, if used again, wouldn't exactly harken back to Mario 64 (unless it used the identical floor plan and same exact rooms) because it's part of the central theme of Mario's world as a whole. and its other levels didn't have something like SMB3's stageplay aesthetic unifying multiple different settings. each was simply that type of setting with no Mario 64 watermark to define it as exclusively M64's world.

it's pretty much alone with SMB1 in that aspect, being simply defined as "Mario-themed" without one specific thing about their visual style that said definitively, "this is exclusively themed to this game."

NSMB kinda does that too, but i don't count those since those just pick pieces from every other game's theme to the point where it's just mush. like SMB1 is potato chips, SMB3 is pizza, SMW is carrot cake, SMB2 is tuna, and the NSMB series just puts that pizza, tuna, potato chips, and carrot cake into a blender and expects it to taste good.
