Why are black people allowed to call white people crackers and not get in trouble?

Why are you basing your approach on social degradation in the guise of a placated argument?

As for the child, I consider 15+ young adults, and they should be capable enough to know that maintaining good grades and learning in the classroom will help them in the future. For four years in high school though, several failed to realize this, and that is not society's fault.

It's society's fault in that they fail to acknowledge a simple human condition - that some people mature quicker than others, thus some children will have an advantage over their peers, throughout their entire school life.

Well this goes a couple of ways then: Whether or not the parents have money, they should have the responsibility of knowing what they need to encourage their children to do. Otherwise, it is their fault.

What's their fault? Not every parents knows what their child will value as an adult.

Some people do mature quicker than others, but this is about race. Does one race mature quicker than another? If not, then that factor shouldnt equal in inequality among races when it comes to grades. The proportions should still be relatively similar.

And I don't mean the parents should push their child towards a certain career, but they SHOULD push them to do well in school and value their education should they not? If they do not encourage them to make the grades, then it is the parent's fault

I do find a little amusing that people are upset that there's not a black character in the Mario games but are perfectly fine with Mario and Luigi being Italian stereotypes that love spaghetti and say "mamamia!"

There hasn't been any (notable) occasions when political correctness has directly effected me but in the long run if its foothold continues to increase it very well can.

PC is just flawed; it hurts people more than it helps them, stifles creativity, builds barriers instead of breaking them down, and really just accomplishes nothing other than anger and frustration.

It really didn't start to truly kick in until no more than 3 years ago but ever since the attacks on 9/11, the US has gone the extra mile to sanitize and sugarcoat so many things just to appease the unwarranted whining of people who now more often than not, have no right to be complaining about a certain problem. At the same time, it happens so much that people want to dismiss certain instances where outrage is called for as pettiness (such as many people wanting to sweep racism under the rug or say that such prejudice no longer exists because we don't live in the American south pre-1970) and that accomplishes nothing as well. There's so many people that have a gripe about SOMEthing these days from the tiniest thing like the subject of this topic to something more major like the Trayvon Martin case that it's harder to distinguish the legitimate issues from the far more insignificant ones.

Political correctness is corruption and I mean it when I say absolutely NOTHING good comes from it.

Agreed. But the PC police have been active since long before Sept. 11. It's the reason we see "Seasons Greetings" instead of "merry Christmas" (though personally I don't find that objectionable). It all started in the 80's, picked up steam in the 90's and really snowballed in the new millennium.

That's true but they weren't nearly as prominent nor powerful till just a few years ago. PC was always around but didn't really start to show itself till the turn of the century/ millenium as you described then shortly after, 9/11 took place and it (subtly) expanded as some defense mechanism in response to the tragedy that took place and has only gotten worse with each passing year until IMO 2012, where it came to a head with Obama's announcement of same-sex marriages being legal and it just spiraled out of control, spreading like a virus. And this virus only seems to be mutating further.

A sandwich is a food item consisting of one or more types of food placed on or between slices of bread, or more generally any dish wherein two or more pieces of bread serve as a container or wrapper for some other food. The sandwich was originally a portable food item or finger food which began its popularity primarily in the Western World, but is now found in various versions in numerous countries worldwide.

Sandwiches are a widely popular type of lunch food, typically taken to work, school, or picnics to be eaten as part of a packed lunch. The bread can be used plain, or it can be coated with one or more condiments to enhance the flavours and texture. As well as being homemade, sandwiches are also widely sold in restaurants and cafes, and are sometimes served hot as well as cold.

The sandwich is considered to be the namesake of John Montagu, 4th Earl of Sandwich, because of the claim that he was the eponymous inventor of this food combination. The Wall Street Journal has described it as Britain's "biggest contribution to gastronomy".

The first written usage of the English word appeared in Edward Gibbon's journal, in longhand, referring to "bits of cold meat" as a "Sandwich". It was named after John Montagu, 4th Earl of Sandwich, an 18th-century English aristocrat. It is said that he ordered his valet to bring him meat tucked between two pieces of bread, and others began to order "the same as Sandwich!" It is commonly said that Lord Sandwich was fond of this form of food because it allowed him to continue playing cards, particularly cribbage, while eating, without using a fork, and without getting his cards greasy from eating meat with his bare hands.

The rumour in its familiar form appeared in Pierre-Jean Grosley's Londres (Neichatel, 1770), translated as A Tour to London 1772; Grosley's impressions had been formed during a year in London in 1765. The sober alternative is provided by Sandwich's biographer, N. A. M. Rodger, who suggests Sandwich's commitments to the navy, and to politics and the arts, mean the first sandwich was more likely to have been consumed at his desk.

Before being known as sandwiches, this food combination seems to simply have been known as "bread and meat" or "bread and cheese".

When was Obama oppressed? He was pretty well-off growing up, if I recall.

What about the fact that 92% of political positions in the US are white men? "Obama is president" isn't a fact that ends racism. Without the black vote, Obama would not have been elected. It wasn't just the fact that Obama was black but also the fact that he wasn't Romney (in the last election). Obama was good at what he did. Just because horrible racists don't control the country does not change the fact that we are far from an equal society. Tell me when someone comes from poverty and enters the oval office.

Oh nice turn in the argument. Now it's not because of race but because of money. Well at least you almost have your head out of your *** :D

You're citing Obama as a show of oppression dying down in America. Obama serves as a distraction from the problem: black people can feel that things are getting better, and white people can dismiss complaints of racism because we have a black president. A middle-class child growing up into politics and becoming president doesn't mean that the problem with poverty and racism does not exist.
Wait, so having a black man as president apparently doesn't help racial equality in any significant way, but throwing a few black characters into Mario Kart 8 would?

Uh....

I never said Obama didn't help racial equality. However, the problem with using Obama as the "fix on racism" is that the issue still has a long way to go before it's truly fixed.

How about you stop dancing around your inability to form a cohesive argument, pick up a few books, and bounce back into this topic when your argument is at least stable enough to go one round?
