I don't consider either particularly difficult anymore, but Adventure of Ling is definitely the harder of the two.

AoL is harder. LoZ's second quest is harder simply because I've only beat it a couple times.
The next person that replies to me with, "I know, right?" to me will be answered with, "No, you're wrong."

Definitely Zelda II.

They're both difficult games in their own way but Zelda II is actually probably the most difficult Zelda game of all time.

Adventure of Link. Never made it past mother ****ing Death Mountain.

The Wii U board is seriously just awful.

Adventure of Link by far. It's still the only Zelda I haven't beaten.

Mostly because I can't be assed with that grindy nonsense though. I probably could if I put my mind to it, but man, f*** grinding.

You don't need to grind, what are you talking about? Fighting enemies in the required to traverse areas is more than enough for 8/8/8 stats and probably even an extra life or two.

Go to the top of the bricks and attack as they jump. Attack when they reach the apex of their jump. Repeat.

If in an open space - run. You should easily have 8/8/8 by this point anyway. No point in risking losing your health with Thunderbird waiting for you.

They're both hard to beat.

Adventure of Link is a sadistic game just with the Iron Knuckles.

Squat-jump, and spam attack while in the air.
More often than not, you'll bypass their shield shenanigans by doing so. Same trick works on the endboss as well.

I played both. Adventure of Link was too harder than the Legend of Zelda.

If you're prepared, Zelda 1 isn't that hard. Zelda 2 is hard even if you have maxed stats.
