I have a very good sized backlog of games for the Wii since I somehow missed out on a ton of em so I tend to play Wii games mostly on it nowadays, especially since I can play them on the gamepad.

Though Bayonetta 2 will finally switch things up there.

I have a bunch of great Wii games my friend loaned me, but they're backlog ATM. (Mario Galaxy 1 I did play through however - outstanding game)

The only Wii game I've fired up since getting my Wii U in November is Mario Galaxy 2 (currently collecting green stars).

Similar reason here - more Wii games due to backlog of unplayed games.

I have a bigger amount of Wii games mainly because of how cheap Wii games are in comparison to Wii U games.

I play a lot of both, but I think it leans toward the Wii.
I normally wait a year or two before buying new consoles, but bought the Wii U at launch because I knew I still had lots of Wii games to go through, and Wii U has System Transfer and perfect backwards compatibility save for GameCube controller support (may not be an issue for much longer) and Lost Winds (dunno if it's still an issue or not).

I know I could have just kept using the Wii, but I wanted to give that to my dad to serve Netflix, get set-up out of the way so I don't have to be bothered with it when I'm eager to play whatever awesome game convinced me that it was time to buy the Wii U, and to be less likely to overlook games released earlier in the Wii U's lifetime.

The only game I play on my Wii U anymore is Xenoblade. Besides that my Wii U just sits there collecting dust.

I played and replayed nearly all my Wii games before buying a WiiU. So I won't be touching most of them for quite a while.
The last Metroid is in captivity. The galaxy is at peace.
