A new launch game +
"The Great Four", HD remakes of four Nintendo games

N64: The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time
GCN: Super Mario Sunshine
GCN: Metroid Prime
Wii: The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess

Just picked out some games I'd like to see remade but also popular games? I mean the games is not the most important factor of this question.
Would a handful of HD remakes sell a system?

So sick of Zelda, and tbh sick of Remakes. The only remake I would welcome at this point would be Kirby 64 on the 3DS.

No Ocarina. No. Enough with rereleasing that game.

If you're going to remake a Mario game, make it Mario 64. That one is a vastly better game than Sunshine.

I'd welcome a Prime remake as long as it was as gorgeous as current tech can make it.

I wasn't a big TP fan. I think a big launch with a brand new Zelda would be good.

Eh, I'd go with:

Super Mario 64 HD

Pokémon Yellow HD I don't actually know how this would work
The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD

Animal Crossing HD

Chibi-Robo HD? Maybe?

Use an engine similar to Battle Revolution with the Gen 6 battle at stat engine?

Remakes would help a little, but in general they're not big attractions - they mostly sell to big fans of the originals and in Nintendo's case, those big fans are probably going to be buying any new Nintendo console anyway. Some remakes would give those people a few more games to play and make them happier with the launch, but ultimately they're not the audience that Nintendo needs to attract.

No, remakes don't push consoles. Nintendo would do well to have 4 NEW games that stand up to other modern games.

You know what'd be awesome? HD remake of 1080° Snowboarding.
