Thoughts?
If the mechanics defy the intended rules, then the game is broken.

Many games have been built around mechanics that defy the rules. See Dota 2 and Smash Melee for great examples

what does this have to do with the video i posted? also when i say defying the rules, i mean camera inconsistencies or biased hit detection. Hyrule Warriors Legends is a perfect example where these problems lie. if you are referring to bugs and glitches, then that is faulty game design.

Breaking news, the timeline was an ass-pull marketing move to sell a book thus everything on it is bulls***

In other news, fire burns and Donald Trump has no issues with neonazis wearing polos, khakis and larping wooden shields

Although flawed, I hate to say it but the timeline kind of evolved as the developers added each new title. From the first game, I don't think it was intended, but it formed with each addition. Now the question remains which is worse: the timeline of the first 3 BoF games or Zelda. Breath of Fire 2 is a sequel to the first game, and while many connections exist, it does have several plot holes within the course of 500 years. Breath of Fire 3 seems to have only one connection to the first game and that is the mural. It has little to no connection to the second game, but leans more to being its sequel.
