Battles can get annoying after a while, but as a whole it’s totally worth it. Lots of charm.

it won't stay cheap for that long

I was about to buy

Depends - what price can you get a Wii U for? They're still rather expensive.
And are there other games on the system you'd want to play?

what?
where did I say I don't have a wii u? I've had the system for years now.

I simply said the game itself would cost me 60-70 euros most likely
I already have the system and a fantastic library of games for it

My bad. So did you get the Wii U game too by now?

From what I've gathered, it's better to not have played the previous games in order to enjoy this one. Well, it seems that way anyway, because I've never played any of the previous games, and really enjoyed Color Splash.

Not true. I enjoyed color splash despite playing the others but the battle system is awful

Only major problem with the game.

Well, it’s also too easy, but that’s to be expected

as far as I know Wii U doesn't have anything exclusive digitally

Wii U actually has quite a few digital download games that are exclusive.
For example one of the best ones: Affordable Space Adventures.
Which you could have gotten for dirty cheap during the Humble Bundle last year.

About buying Paper Mario: Go for it. It will only get more expensive. I bought it just a few months ago for 30 EUR and it's fine. I'm expecting the Wii U to become a collector's item. I would have bought 2, but well hardware is already not cheap anymore.
