Most of the battles in this game are not decided by player skill. I lose mid-range battles because I choose the DMR, or I lose long-range battles because I choose the Covenant Carbine. I often find that it makes no difference how amazing my accuracy is, or how disorienting my strafe is; the person with the better gun or faster bullet registration will always win the fight.
Yes, seriously. When I start shooting at a guy before he starts shooting me, and I DON'T MISS, I expect to get that kill. That's not the case, though.
I don't feel like commenting on all of this as I'm sure you've studied the game quite extensively in the very long time its been out. I just wanted to say that I'm pretty sure number 2 was the point. Grenades have been too strong in MP for a while. A nerf that still makes them usable in a suppression tactic is quite nice.
translation: I lost. I am the most skilled person ever so the game is clearly broken.
I can't read, or am too lazy to read, so I will insult this person who's intelligence is superior to mine with the only insult I know.
I admit I got bored after the first 3 or 4 points because you're judging the game that's been out a day based on your playing it like it's Halo 3 without learning the new features, the new grenade ranges, the best ways to use the new weapons. You keep saying there's no skill involved, but no one's developed true Halo 4 skills yet.
Nov 6 - the Reclamation Begins! Halo 4 - less than one week =O (nvm, got it >_> )
