I'm not saying K/D doesn't mean anything... But if you play more objective based games, then it means very little. I'd rather have someone on my team who will suicide run a downed flag to keep resetting that counter than the 3.0 kd guy on my team sitting in the back calling it safe using his DMR. Or someone who dies by jumping in front of a teammate under fire carrying the ball.

I'm not jumping on the bandwagon of kdr being completely useless, just that it doesn't mean aw much in this game.

Too many factors go into it to ever make it that meaningful. It can only ever be used as a very, very rough guide. For instance, it's probably fairly safe to say that a 1.8 K/D player is better than a 1.1 K/D player. But how does a 1.6 K/D compare to a 1.4 K/D? Hard to say really.

1.5 in slayer, 1.3 overall. Not bad I guess.

I mainly play lone wolf in slayer, just cause teamshooting across the map with DMRs is so ball-crushingly boring it makes me want to harm myself. Sometimes I can't help it like on goddamn Ragnarok, but generally I try to do my own thing and rack up mid-range kills.

People always say K/D = skill, but it doesn't factor in the level that you are playing at. In pro tournaments it is very rare for people to come out of games with crazy k/d's since everyone there is very skilled.

This doesn't exactly apply here...it's just something to think about. Your K/D should go down or level off when you play enough games to be put into the right pool of equally skilled players.
