Than it is a hindrance?

I think its more likely to help you hit a headshot than it is to make you miss a headshot.

Depends on what you mean by recoil, since the Halo series doesn't have the standard style of simulating recoil that other FPSes do.

If you mean the spread of the bullets, I don't necessarily agree. It may give you a better shot and hitting the head, but your chances still differ at various ranges.

Not spread, when you shoot the reticule goes upwards.
