I think it did. Reach could've been a masterpiece if they didn't include that pointless gameplay aspect, ugh. Glad they kept it out of 4 for the most part.

Armor Lock. It made battles too slow and was a "wait! time-out! I'm about to die!" button..

Yeah, I had a problem with being forced to spam and having kills be determined on a random factor.I don't like dice rolls deciding if I live or die in a competitive FPS.

I'm sure people who sucked with precision weapons loved it.

Bloom had no impact whatsoever. Reach wasn't good because of Armor Lock and it had **** maps. It generally just wasn't as fun to play as Halo 2.

Reach had gorgeous maps, and armor lock was easily circumvented.

It wasn't the only thing that ruined Reach but bloom and armor abilities together impacted it a great deal.

By what, standing around just waiting for him to pop back out? Whether it was easy to kill them or not, it was stupid and boring and killed a lot of gameplay. "Okay...whens he gonna pop out of it....ummm, maybe in 3 seconds? Okay just wait I guess...." It was just very dumb and killed flow.

And yeah maps are very subjective but I hated pretty much all of them, and by the end the game was so filled with forge maps that, even though some were decent, all looked the same and couldn't be told apart during the voting screen. Very stupid.
And this stillness of life did not in the least resemble a peace.
