The fact that Halo 4 is beating out Halo 2 is a sign that people are taking off their nostalgia goggles which is a damn beautiful sign. Don't get that much anywhere else.
It's a sign that Halo will never be good again.
Or that it's at it's peak.
If by peak you mean the most casual and flawed Halo has been since Reach's initial release...then sure.
Terrible maps, join in progress, lack of good playlists(no doubles or MLG, removal of Slayer Pro, etc), custom loadouts and "perks" further reduce the skill gap and hurt game balance along with AA's, sprint, random weapon drops, and ordinace drops, new CTF rules require less skill and don't promote team work as well as the old rules, lack of custom games options, bloom still exists, grenade/hit indicators hold players' hands, lack of a meaningful ranking system, etc etc.
Fanboys are funny.
Shut up, I'll just ignore the valid points you made and counter them with something that makes no sense!
OOOH LAWD JESUS OH JESUS GET DA WATER *****! IT GOING DOWN! DEM MOTHER******* BOOTLEG FIREWORK ****! OH ****! wooo
I would love to say Halo 4 for such a story, but Halo 3 for me will always be my favourite. It was my first Halo on XBL, but a year before that I was playing forge, split screen and the campaign nonstop (as with the Halo's I played before that). The eventual online play was indescribeable.
Wants sequels to Timesplitters, Amped 2, Mirrors Edge, Sleeping Dogs, Burnout and Need For Speed Underground.
I never played 2 as I didn't own an original Xbox at the time, but from watching playthroughs, I'd put it between 3 and CE. I love all of the Halo games, but I'm not that great at the multiplayer aspect so I just voted based on story and immersion in single player.
