As a competitive player myself, I am looking forward to this game. It looks faster than Brawl, it has many unique characters and move-sets, has a competitive online mode, has Final Destination versions of all stages and uses the Gamecube controller.

It'll be my alternate version. I'll probably still play Melee competitively, but play this for a slightly more casual experience.

So I'm really looking forward to this game, but it won't completely replace Melee for me. It will completely replace Brawl (stopped playing that one a few years ago anyways, lol).
