I can't say that this whole issue is a game changer for me.
It's rare to see games I want in the used shelf with a noticeably lower price tag than their new counterpart.
Selling games or trading them are also a bit of a turn off with the ass offers GameStop gives. Plus, I tend to avoid selling games (Im sentimental).
I don't have gamer friends, hence no borrowing (this is why I'm loving the option to stream test games). When I want to experiment I go for greatest hits as opposed to questionable used games, since at least I'm guaranteed that someone liked it (used games says their not good enough for someone to keep, a sad reality)..
I'm with you on the used game thing, most of the used games I buy tend to be older games I never got to play (I skipped everything between Sega Genesis through the original Xbox, so...yeah.)
But I do quite like having Gamefly in order to get a feel for games I'm on the fence about, and that functionality would've killed that too, which would've been a rather large disappointment.
