Did anyone catch the siren with the Phantasy Star Universe-esque wings at 5:30 in the Sir Hammerlock Trailer? They were on her character model during 3rd person view. Is that some type of aesthetic mod? anyone know? Pretty badass..also has any type of 3rd person mode been confirmed at all? Don't quite understand that trailer perspective at that point.

That would be Maya's Blight Phoenix kill skill which deals fire and corrosive damage to nearby enemies for a limited time. Similar to Lilith's Phoenix skill from the original game.

Phoenix skill gives lilith wings. The 3rd person is either a cinematic, or done for dramatic effect. There is no 3rd person gameplay, besides vehicles obviously.

That's probably from the skill Blight Phoenix. Lilith had the Phoenix skill in Borderlands 1 that would give her fiery wings when it activated, I'm assuming Blight Phoenix will do the same.

Oh ok, sweet. Lilith was the only character I did not touch in BL1 so I am unfamiliar with her skill set beyond phase run. Looks badass nonetheless, hope the skill is useful.

:O I honestly didn't know that, I must admit I didn't play a whole bunch online, and I never saw that. My second character was Lilith and I assume you couldn't see if on yourself... wow... Borderlands has been out years and I'm still finding new stuff.
My brother was the evil wizard, I was the dwarf, my dad the barbarian, and my cousin the elf...

Fun fact: Sirens with Phoenix cause every single barrel near them to explode, if it can.
In a battle of idiocy, the first to walk away wins.

Yeah, same with Spark. Teammates of Lilith must get pretty annoyed when those skills activate.

Same time post, dudes.
