Bare with me, the math might be off--feel free to fix it, really--and this data does not include things EXTREMELY important to the DPS process, including class mods and badass ranks. It also assumes that you hit every single shot. Just consider it to be a very generalized idea of the kind of damage each character does with non-elemental weapons.

Damage assumes that every character uses a non-elemental 1 damage, 8 firerate, 18 clip pistol. (Reason for the pistol: It's the only weapon type that anyone has a direct damage boost to, besides Zero's ascension skill which is a different kind of damage dealing)

The following builds were used for the data:
http://talent.87bazillion.com/2/gunzerker.php?555050050510505013000000000000000
http://talent.87bazillion.com/2/siren.php?050000000050050140000505410550
http://talent.87bazillion.com/2/commando.php?50505000005005505500050000000000
http://talent.87bazillion.com/2/assassin.php?505050500050055105400000000000

Salvador: 1 Pistol Damage (1 *1.40) * 8 Firerate (8*1.65)
=18.48 DPS + excess damage to enemies killed

(Gunzerk) Salvador: 2 Pistols doing 1 Damage (2*1.45) * 8 Firerate (8*1.65)
=38.28 DPS + excess damage to enemies killed

Salvador (All Crits): 1 Pistol Damage (1*1.40) * (1.5 +.1) * 8 Firerate (8*1.65)
= 29.57 DPS + excess damage to enemies killed

Maya: 1 pistol damage (1 * 1.15[+.40]) * 8 Firerate (8)
=9.2 DPS against a high vitality foe
=12.4 DPS against a low vitality foe

Maya (Phaselocked Enemy): 1 Pistol Damage (1*1.45[+.40]* 8 Firerate (8*1.5)
=17.4 DPS against a high vitality foe
=22.2 DPS against a low vitality foe

Maya (All Crits): 1 Pistol Damage (1*1.15[+.40]) * (1.5 +.25) * 8 Firerate (8)
=16.1 DPS against a high vitality foe
=21.7 DPS against a low vitality foe

Axton (Assume non-elemental weapon): 1 Pistol Damage (1*1.75) * 8 Firerate (8 * 1.85)
=25.9 DPS

Axton (non-elemental) (With Turret Out) 1 Pistol Damage (1*2.05) * 8 Firerate (8 * 1.85)
=30.5 DPS

Axton (non-elemental) (All Crits): 1 Pistol Damage (1.*1.75) * (1.5) * 8 Firerate ( 8 * 1.85)
=38.9 DPS

*Zero: 1 Pistol Damage (1.9 + 1.4 + 1.5 + 1.6 + 1.7 + 1.8/6) [2] * 8 Firerate (8)
=Low of 13.2 DPS (No Tw0 Fang shots)
=High of 26.4 DPS (All Tw0 Fang shots)

*Zero: (All Crits) (1.9 + 1.4 + 1.5 + 1.6 +1.7 + 1.8.6/) * (1.5 +1.10) [2] * 8 Firerate (8)
=Low of 34.2 DPS (No Tw0 Fang shots)
= High of 68.4 DPS (All Tw0 Fang shots)

*Neither of these use the possibility of Death Mark damage.

Thank you for posting this. No one realizes that IF Zer0 crits, he can nearly out DPS anyone. But generally he won't.

^Non-elemental damage. Don't worry about it, honestly, I think she has the best action skill.

I don't know Crayon, with the ability to see the crit spot, it does lead to much better chances.

Maya isn't weak, her strong point just isn't pure non elemental weapon damage.

Because that doesn't include the free Corrosion, Burning, and Electrification that WILL be occurring.

Oh I'm all for Zer0's best DPS as long as he's critting. But others have debated it with some good points. I guess it all comes down to weapons/critting or not to elemental/non elemental or gunzerking. Just varies too much to give a definitive answer on.

True. Min/maxing is always fun, but typically, at least for me, the first run is always just kill and have fun. I'll worry more about this stuff later when PC has had a chance to data mine and when we know how difficult Teramorphus and other raid style bosses will be.
