As if Gamestop is the only company that messes up shipments. Anyone who really thinks that is naive. I've worked in a factory (albeit for a music label), and you would not even believe how many returns we got that were not even our product, because the company had sent back the wrong stuff.
It happens. Make them aware of the problem, I'm sure they'll fix it. You can moan and whine about what a bad company they are if they don't fix it. Don't crucify someone for a mistake, it could easily have been you.

I've done this a few times with GS. Sometimes even a week after release or so (for atlus games at least). At one time I bought an FFXII collector's complete with everything new for like $20, but that was after 1-2 years though.
