If you mean 'Handsome' Jack, President and CEO of Hyperion, I think he makes it clear that you're the bad guys. Borderlands 2 is actually a story about a Heroic CEO trying to do right and struggling against 4 playable maniacs who just want to spoil his heraldry and benevolence.

It's basically a Greek tragedy.
Admit it, you only came back to Atlanta for the hat.

On topic: He isn't a "brave hero, cleaning up a lawless planet." He's a lying, cowardly murderer, almost on par with the bandits he's supposedly rescuing people from.

corporations are indeed people, they get a vote in any election, just like you or I.

but hyperion is the badguy because borderlands 1 made it that way and lemme check... yes, this is borderlands 2.
