Hello all,
I was hoping for some help on soloing terra. I am a lvl 50 assassin with the following legendaries: CC, electric CC, Bee, Volcano, Flakker, Impaler, Leech.

I also have a 10000 damage smg found in Frostburn cavern, and a lvl 50 4400 damage Moxxi's bad touch.

I am just asking for the best possible way to solo him. I am willing to respec into anything (right now I am invested heavily in cunning) or even farm for a weapon or two. Does anyone have any good strategies (that are not blatant exploits) for beating terra?

Kill it before it kills you seems to be the consensus on strategy.
They're not going to say no because of the implication.

Oh, you thought they made this game for you? You clearly bought the wrong game.

the Evil Smasher glitch should do the trick.
EDIT: Just read the no exploits rule. Disregard my post.

Use the Bee and Bad Touch and go to town. Bad Touch heals you when enemies are taking damage. Before you summon Terra, find the exit gate. this is where you should station yourself while shooting Terra. It will keep you from getting knocked off the cliff.

Does the fibber count as a blatent exploit in your universe (since apparently some disagree)? If not, then that'll down him fairly promptly, particularly if you use kunai as well.

Lacking that, bee+fast firing weapon (e.g. b!tch) is pretty effective. I've also found that have rank 11 unforseen (I think that's the right skill, bloodshot skill that makes you run faster after a kill) is sufficient to allow me to throw down a deception and backpedal enough to avoid being hit most of the time (edit:this is after killing a tentacle, and using a +6 class mod on top of rank 5 skill), so that's fairly sustainable.

If you're a total badass you could do this:

Or you could try the melee approach:

It takes a lot of corner camping with a shot gun, quickscoping with a jacobs sniper, and bouncing betties.
