Do you see a Fire Emblem: Awakening sequel with Lucina as the main lord in the current timelime? I think it would be pretty neat... she's almost as good as Lyn, if not better... certainly sexier, imo.

I'm not sure exactly who would be the main enemy... but would you like to see certain relationships deemed as canon? The personalities of several of the characters seem to be very strained and quite different then what I was expecting. What are your thoughts, do you see FE: A2 as inevitable as I do?

No. That would be bad writing for a game that already has story issues.

The only ways they could do a direct sequel to this game would be as follows:

-Nobody from the second generation except Lucina reappears
-Somehow add the ability to transfer relationship data
-Set it far enough into the future where everyone from the second generation either has grey hair or is dead. If you go this route, Yarne and Nah are either put on a bus or are dying their hair.

I feel like if they were going to see an FE game with Lucina as the main character, it would be a different alternate future, where something has somehow gone wrong with the current timeline due to interference from some other future, and we get into all sorts of crazy timeline shenanigans and trying to "fix" things rather than just the two timelines that we got in this game.

But really, I don't see an FEA sequal as being very likely.

Only way I see a sequel is if Morgan regains their memories and is actually evil. Even that would bd bad though.

I would rather not. I like Awakening, but I can't see how they would make a sequel without trampling over player choices in this game.

Fire Emblem games do tend to come in pairs, so it's possible that they could do a sequel (or a prequel; they've done that before).

They could do a really depressing prequel where you play as Gangrel's father, defending yourself against the genocidal Ylissean hordes.

Most Fire Emblem games barely have anything to do with the other games' stories, even if they use the same world/characters. So an Awakening sequel would likely be in the vein of Binding Blade, where it just had most of the kids of the last game's characters fighting a completely unrelated threat than the one that their parents were dealing with. Yes, I know Binding Blade came first. You get the idea.
