I have like 5 other characters in attack range and for whatever reason they go for "that" guy. Are they attracted towards killing the weakest?

If not why.

They trend toward whoever has the lowest DEF, generally.

Gee, it's like the enemy wants to kill you or something.

If the enemy CAN kill one of your units, they WILL kill them. It doesn't matter if you leave a Pegasus Knight in range of an enemy archer, if the Pegasus Knight would survive the attack, but the archer had the ability to kill a different unit (or lower the health enough for another to make the kill), he'll go after the other one.

The AI isn't flawless, but it isn't stupid, either. Don't leave someone in a place where he can get ganged-up on unless he has the DEF to deal with it.

I don't mind when they do, it just means Halvan killed like 6 knights because he has vantage and a hammer.

So to answer the topic title's question: Yes, I do hate it when one unit gets dogpiled and killed; because it means that I ****ed up.

No s*** I didn't know that, thanks professor.

Serious response:
I just wonder why they wouldn't attempt attacking other units instead of just one. Just seems weird to me.

First unit attacks someone, hurts him and dies.
Second unit chooses between fighting a perfectly healthy enemy or the injured one.
Third unit...

I hope that explains why, TC.
