Depends what you mean. Game market wise it is, because it offers features that increase the longevity of the game. . . By a loooooooot. The graphics and portraits are amazing for what this lil thing can handle. The changing faces are relatively new, and the marriage + child system gives metagamers something to go crazy over. Lastly, the customizable avatar is a very rare thing in the Fire Emblem series, so it feels awesome to have a very varied unit.
I thought the storyline was about a 5/10, but the relationship factors between characters was most certainly a 10/10. Dialogue within the story itself is pretty good, and in general it's entertaining. This is the first Fire Emblem that was set up to get many laughs. Something that we don't really get to see in these games since it was always a very serious SRPG.
In the end, I would say it all boils down to opinion. Though thanks to the dialogue and features, I really think this game will help broaden the FE gaming population.
