So what if it is the "easy way out?" How does how someone chooses to enjoy their single-player game affect you in the slightest? Please, enlighten me as to your thought processes, because I genuinely do not understand why you people have to be so uppity about insisting that others play the game how you think it should be played.

I'd say because it revolves around FFX being extremely basic and easy, once you get to Calm Lands you can grind out Wakka and one shot all the bosses to end the story with Attack Reels, not even having break damage. This game is all about the grind of end game.
And that grind becomes null and void, with, you guessed it, Zanmato.
So yes, everyone has the right to play a game how they want, it is single player, but, what's the point?
If you're trophy hunting you have to grind out the Sphere Grid anyway, so why not make the attempt?
It's really nobodies business. If they hate because of it so what. That's their problem not yours. I used it to farm certain bosses because I'm not going to farm for specific armors by killing them the long way every single time.if I've killed it once the traditional way will then that's more than enough for me. It's not the first ff with it either. I remember people using Odin in a similar manner. Even getting him late so he doesn't change into gilgamesh.
