^ The PS3 lost the PSN for a month and a half because they got hacked which took them only a week to finish but they rebuild the PSN servers from the ground up which is why they were down for so long for the most part. It's not like the hackers had control of the problem a month and we still play on the same PSN.
Xbox only had hardware issues for around 54% of the people before the slim. Now there's little to none, so it's not like EVERYONE had problems. These problems didn't even make any major dents anyways because now it is all fixed.

And so does the Xbox 360. --- http://kotaku.com/5811665/2011-is-all-about-the-gun-barrels
True, but exclusive titles is possibly the best thing the PS3 has going for it. The same cannot be said for the 360. When it comes to multi-platform games, I'd say the 360 sells more. I can count the quality exclusives the 360 has on one hand. There would be: Halo, Gears of War, Forza, Alan Wake (although it is coming to the PC), and that's all I can think of. Now, the PS3 quality exclusives can easily double that. You have, MGS4, God of War series, Ratchet & Clank, Sly Cooper, Infamous, Uncharted, Resistance, Killzone, Heavy Rain and there aree still others. As you can see, Microsoft doesn't care too much about exclusivity b/c they sell more multi-plats. But, the PS3 needs tons of exclusives so they can sell consoles and keep up in software sales.
