- The story is extremely basic, almost non-existent. - There are about 11 dungeons, they have a structure similar to Dragon Quest's. - The battles are turn-based, your party can be 8 characters. No random encounter just like Dragon Quest IX. - The Denpa men are caught by the 3DS camera (augmented reality) or you can get them by scanning the QR codes from the other players (not available from the start). - The Denpa men's paint usually decides which elements they are stronger at. - The Denpa men either have no antenna (skill) or just 1 skill. The skill can be improved as you level up. Most skills have three levels. - There's a shop that sells you clothes and equipment, as well as items.
If you like dungeon crawling and turn-based battles, you will probably like this game.
Wrong; only attack skills, buffs, debuffs and the HP heal skills have three. All others have two (status afflictions and status healers, as well as the invincible buff), which are all transitions from single-target to all enemies/party-wide, OR they never evolve beyond their original skill at all (both Revival skills, double gold, always treasure, and Excite All skills).
This information is all available in the museum, when and if you ever buy the game and get that far. I WILL say that, with such a wide variety of skills and colours, making and customizing strategies in this game cab have pretty immense depth with an 8-man party.
