One review gives it an 8 but another gives it a 2.5 out of 10!!! Also the PR firm behind Wheels of Destruction asked the site to remove the review for reasons not disclosed:/ I was gonna get this day 1, but I think I'll hold off a bit and see what others think before I splurge

Me - yes. And I can place my opinion on metacritic, isn't it? I did not see and restrictions.

But I do not know who these guys who made the video on link above, they are neutral.

Yeah but if you're a developer shouldn't your tag indicate so? (some devs have a VIP beside their tag) Also I really want to purchase your game....previous threads on Gamefaqs are testament to this, but it seems there are quite a bit of negative/mediocre reviews(some of which were removed) so as it stands I have to wait on user feedback first. I do wish the game well though, and I give props to anyone that creates games for me to enjoy:)

P.S. it seems that WOD's main criticism is it's controls. Why not just copy a tried and true control scheme from an already successful title? ...like Twisted Metal

Answer about controls:

http://blog.us.playstation.com/2012/03/08/balancing-control-and-combat-in-wheels-of-destruction/

Several tips:

If your car crashed into the wall - just turn camera to any direction which you need and press X (jump), car will very fast turn.

Use Boost in the air. Not on the ground, in the air. Jump (X), or use jumpPad and then press O (Boost) and you will fly 1-2 seconds into the forward.
